Reeve Family Studies
The Ken and Helen Reeve Family Studies of early Brown County, Indiana families were compiled over a period of many years by the Genealogical Committee of the Brown County Historical Society.
The Studies themselves are available in the reference section of the Brown County Public Library. Reprints of individual Family Studies are available for purchase through a cooperative agreement between the Brown County Public Library and the Brown County Genealogical Society. The Archives of The Brown County Historical Society is open for your research every Tuesday from Noon - 3:00pm and by appointment. Please email: admin@browncountyhistorycenter.org
For those who wish to do their own research: Copies .25 plus donations are suggested to help maintain the archives, $5 for individual, or $15 for commercial clients per visit is suggested.
For those unable to do their own research: We will spend one hour, free of charge, to determine what sources may exist, and completing simple searchs when the following are supplied in the contact form at the bottom of this page:
1. Name, address & email
2. Concise statement (50 words or less) of your immediate requirement and
ultimate objective.
3. If your research is genealogical, you will be asked to supply a pedigree chart from your starting point to your Brown County relative, to aid in identifying the correct lineage you are seeking.
Should your research require longer than the free period, we can recommend several qualified, paid local researchers.
